New Homes Agent | Community Manager

As a New Homes Agent, you will represent Signature Homes and our builder communities, guiding buyers through the new construction process from initial interest through closing. You'll be the primary point of contact for prospective buyers visiting model homes and community sites, managing the full sales cycle in partnership with our builder and team resources.

Requirements

  • License Active – South Dakota Real Estate License (required)
  • Compensation – Commission-based

Candidates must hold an active South Dakota real estate license in good standing and be willing to transfer their license to Hegg Realty as a condition of joining the Rob Ellerman Team. Out-of-state applicants currently licensed in other states are encouraged to apply if they are willing to obtain South Dakota licensure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing Signature Homes and builder communities to prospective buyers at model homes and sales offices
  • Guide buyers through the full new construction sales process, from initial consultation to contract close
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, outreach, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with builder on pricing updates, lot availability, and upgrade selections
  • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, and builder to ensure smooth closings
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow-up activity in the team's CRM
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and builder events
  • Stay current on local market trends, competing communities, and new construction inventory

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with buyers throughout a longer sales cycle
  • Self-motivated with exceptional follow-through and time management
  • Comfortable working on-site at model homes and community locations
  • Proficiency in MLS systems, digital tools, and CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of the South Dakota real estate market and local communities
  • Team-oriented mindset with a competitive, growth-driven attitude
  • Experience in new construction or residential real estate sales preferred
